Content Developer

Fen Research, creator of the MMORPG "Brighter Shores" is seeking four additional content developers. Following our successful launch in early November 2024, we're looking for developers who can both design and code new content for the game.
- Design and code new quests, professions, raids, minigames, events, new game mechanics, etc... using our in-house game engine.
- Create compelling stories, dialogue, lore, characters, and world-building elements that align with the game’s narrative.
- Work as part of a team, collaborating with our audio and graphics developers to realize everyone's ideas.
- A programmer with experience in any 'C' or Java like programming language, and experience working on video games in either a professional, educational or hobby capacity.
- A designer with a flair for narrative and dialogue.
- Someone who enjoys regularly playing video games or board games.
- Able to work in our Cambridge, UK, office. There may be the opportunity to work from home on some days, once you have completed training and settled into the role, but you will still need to be within sensible commuting distance to our office.
- 18 or older, and must have the right to work in the UK.
