We have realized that when we previously increased the number of items given by ventures we overshot, and went from ventures giving too few items, to giving way too many items. As such, we have now partially rolled back that increase, to a point somewhere in the middle of the 2 extremes. We have implemented this as follows:
Reduce the number of lobsters, oysters, grapes, cinnamon sticks and brimstone you get from ventures.
Change the length of the lobster ventures and brimstone ventures to 23 hours.
Increase the low price of lobsters, oysters, grapes, cinnamon sticks, brimstone, and explosives. This ensures the daily wealth generation of the ventures remains the same.
Correspondingly DECREASE the number of these items in each player's bank and backpack. This ensures that the sum low price remains the same, and so avoids the price increase giving players a large amount of unearned wealth. This also helps correct for the fact that historically the ventures gave way too many of these items, and consequentially many players are otherwise sitting on a huge backlog of way more of these items than they can ever realistically use.
Move the 'lobster thermidor' and 'oysters in lemon sauce' activities to be later in the chef milestone. This means if you are leveling chef and fisher at the same rate, you will reach the fisher venture earlier than the chef recipe. This gives you time to build up a reasonable amount of ingredients before you need to use them, even with the reduced venture item rate.
PASSIVE ACTIVITY BALANCING
We have calculated the XP per hour for most passive activities to a higher precision to avoid rounding errors. This is reflected in the rewards interface and the actual XP earned.
QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS
Ingots, brewed bones and etched stone activities are now included in the professions interface, meaning you can see the rewards for those activities. You can also now collect album cards for these activities.
Change chef bounties to always be for a minimum of 2 items if a 'cooking only' bounty and a minimum of 3 items if a 'delivery' bounty, as very small bounties were a bit annoying.
BUG FIXES
Fix incorrect XP numbers on Carpenter activities which involved the lathe. They now include 50% of the XP from sawing the logs (reflecting that you get two poles from one log). Note: This indicates the amount of XP per pole, NOT the amount of XP per log.
Fix combat knowledge point display overflow.
Add missing 'Activity continues after logout' to all passive combat foe cards.
Add missing description to Merchant 'working for pearl stall' activity.
Fix missing profession equipment on Detective stakeout activity cards.
Fix incorrect location being shown on some leatherworker passive activities.
